With their fluffy white coat and lively eyes, West Highland White Terriers (more affectionately known as Westies) are probably among the most adorable dogs on the face of the earth. For this reason, and aware of their captivating charm , the Canadian facial tissue brand Scotties has decided to turn dozens of dogs of this breed into the endearing protagonists of a campaign that will probably melt the hearts of more than one. That Scotties has chosen this breed for its new campaign is also due to the fact that its mascot is precisely a funny puppy of the Westy breed. In "Unleash the Scotties" the brand captures the emotions underlying the act of needing a tissue and does so with a fun twist, replacing its "tissues" with charming Westy dogs (the same ones with which its protagonists wipe their tears).
A couple of years ago, in 2019, the facial tissue brand presented its mascot, Scottie, which it chose to be soft and strong in equal parts (just like its products).
